Someone else said Chris Owens appeared at a Sci-Fi convention recently and
stated he would be Scully's partner. Does anyone know if this is true? If
this is true it gives credence to the other horrible spoilers.
Someone on AOL, in response to the source of all these so-called spoilers, said
that Chris Owens stated at the conference that he knew absolutely nothing about
it.
But just in case, please don't put spoilers in the heading and use space!

Double Ick.
I don't care if they get Mel Gibson to play
Scully's new partner, it won't be Mulder.
Therefore, it won't be the same. Why
does Scully need a new partner? Can't
she just react and interreact with the other cast members in beefed up roles?
I'm beginning to get scared about this new season........

I agree with you, FWIW. Screw the whole goddamned new partner idea. Let
Scully tough it out on her own.

I thought Spender was killed by his father, CGB

Not everything dies Mr. Harrison.
Hey, look at it this way: Spender is the perfect ad hoc new partner. He
was a disbeliever and now is a believer, and he would probably feel a
need to find Mulder too. I predicted long ago that getting all 4 of
them -- Mulder, Scully, Krycek and Spender -- together would be the best
way to end XF.

Oh gawd shit damn, that was terrible!
But have you ever seen the older Avengers with Honor Blackman? I loved
watching Steed trying to pick up on her and she just blew him off and
made him angry! And those funny bloopers, like when the mike gets into
the shot, or you see a TV camera cruising in the other room of a
criminals' lair. "Excuse me, sir, this is a criminal hide-out, no TV
coverage please, thank you!"
The Honor Blackman years were just
great:). I wish A & E would get those old
"Avenger" shows out and show them again. I rent them from time to time.
But I got "into" the show during the Steed/Peel years and to me, that was
"The Avengers".
We now return you to the "X-Files":).

Only double? I see your Double Ick, and raise you a Feh! and two "ptui!"s.
I hardly think the solution is to pair Scully up with a dead Weasel Boy.
