The actor and his Australian-born girlfriend made their first public appearance together Saturday at Sydney’s Doncaster Day at Randwick Racecourse, a major horse racing event. (Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-lee Furness, also made the scene.) But the real proof came the day before, when an unshaven Bloom, 31, met up with the Victoria’s Secret model and her parents for a cozy lunch at Catalina’s in Sydney’s Rose Bay. Kerr – dressed down in a grey jersey dress with brown boots – told a fellow diner that her jet-lagged beau had been “very reclusive” since arriving Down Under. “I’ve had to drag him out today!” But once faced with the ‘rents, it seemed Bloom perked right up – and turned on the charm. As they were leaving, the actor was spotted giving Kerr’s mother a big hug.
