JERSEY CITY – Forbes will begin a new chapter Monday when the financial media giant moves into its new offices in Downtown Jersey City, according to the New York Post.

The company's new 92,720-square-foot office will house two floors of 499 Washington Blvd. in the Newport section of the city, near the Newport PATH station.

Monday will mark the end of the company's 97-year stint in New York – the last 49 of which was spent in its current digs.

Forbes has committed to spending 10 years in Jersey City, for which it will receive a $27 million Grow New Jersey tax grant because of its pledge to bring at least 350 jobs to the state.

The company publishes Forbes, Forbes Asia, Forbes Europe and ForbesLife magazines as well as Forbes.com and ForbesLife.com.
