Chris Bosh drops price on hilltop estate in Pacific Palisades

Could a spring buyer be in the cards for Chris Bosh?

Following in the footsteps of former teammate LeBron James, who made a $2-million price adjustment to his waterfront Florida estate earlier this month, the Miami Heat forward-center has chopped $1.5 million off the asking price for his mansion-estate in Pacific Palisades.

Reduced to $11 million, the villa-inspired Mediterranean takes in expansive canyon and views from a 1.45-acre promontory in Pacific Highlands. The home, built in 2001, is highlighted by large formal areas, a gourmet kitchen, a library/office, a wine cellar, six bedrooms and eight bathrooms in nearly 10,800 square feet.

Among amenities is an entertainment level featuring a game room, a sports bar and a home theater. The master suite sports a private sitting room, a gym, a soaking tub and expansive walk-in closets.

Walls of glass open to grounds containing infinity-edge pool with a spa, a swim-up bar and a lounge with a fire pit. Various entertainer’s spaces, covered patios, tall palms and a large expanse of grass complete the resort-like setting.

Bosh, who owns other property in Miami Beach and Texas, purchased the home in December 2012 for $9.4 million, records show. In addition to the new asking price, it is also available for lease at $45,000 a month.

Bosh, 31, was ruled out for the remainder of the season in February after developing blood clots on one of his lungs. A two-time NBA champion, he has earned 10 consecutive All-Star nods in 12 seasons with the Raptors and Heat.
