University of the Arts is Europe's largest university for art, design, fashion, communication and the performing arts. It is a federation of six internationally renowned colleges: Camberwell College of Arts, Central St Martins College of Art and Design, Chelsea College of Art and Design, London College of Communication, London College of Fashion and Wimbledon College of Art. In 2006, the student hub opened in the West End as a point of contact for students from across the university.

Fees
For 2008-09, home students will pay up to £3,145 for first degrees.

Bursaries
Students in receipt of the full government grant are automatically entitled to a £305 bursary (2007-08). Over 300 further access bursaries of £1000 are awarded, according to need. There is a wide range of other bursaries available, including privately funded scholarships.

Accommodation
Accommodation costs for 2007-08 in university accommodation range from £72.60 to £159.04 a week. There is accommodation available for 1,754 students. Disabled students and students under 18 at the start of their course are guaranteed accommodation. Priority is also given to students from outside London.

Facilities
As you'd expect, there are excellent facilities for students in all disciplines and students from each college can access some of the resources at the others.

Transport
No problem getting around: all the colleges are close to Tube or bus links. Some are right smack in the middle of town; others are in more sedate corners of the capital.
