West Brom have signed Auxerre defender Gabriel Tamas on a permanent deal following his successful loan spell.
The Romania centre-back, 26, arrived at The Hawthorns back in January and played 26 games, scoring twice.
The Baggies activated a clause in the loan deal to turn it into a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee and the move will go through on 1 June.
The former Celtic target has had spells in his homeland, Turkey, Russia, Spain and France.
