Luton Town 0-4 Leicester City: Demarai Gray & James Justin goals ease Foxes into fourth round

Leicester's fine start to the season continued as they eased past Championship strugglers Luton to reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

While Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers made seven changes to the side that beat Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday, his side was always in control.

Demarai Gray opened the scoring with a close-range finish after a well worked corner routine involving Marc Albrighton and Ayoze Perez.

And with the hosts - who had made 10 changes of their own from the 3-0 loss to Hull on Saturday - failing to find any fluency, defender James Justin doubled Leicester's lead on his return to Kenilworth Road after his summer move.

The 21-year-old, making his debut for the visitors, superbly dispatched a half-volley from eight yards after being picked out by Youri Tielemans' diagonal ball.

Tielemans volleyed in Leicester's third goal from substitute Kelechi Iheanacho's cross.

Nigeria forward Iheanacho then rounded off the scoring late on to ensure the three-time winners progressed with the minimum of fuss.

Luton manager Graeme Jones: "I think we will take good lessons from it, because there's nothing better than playing against that kind of quality and for us to try to adhere to that level, because that's what we're all in the game for."

Leicester defender James Justin: "It was unbelievable to be clapped by the home fans after scoring against them, so I'm just thankful. Obviously it's a disappointing result for Luton, but I'm over the moon personally and it's a debut. I've always wanted to show everyone what I can do.

"I'm happy to get on the scoresheet and keep a clean sheet and if you look at our team, it's scary really because we've made loads of changes, but the intensity was still there."
