7th Army Training Command; Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine; and 173rd Airborne Brigade tested the ability to drop a live M67 grenade using a Skydio X10 and a U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command-developed Audible dropper for the first time in the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany, June 25, 2025. Soldiers from 7th Army Training Command, the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine and 173rd Airborne Brigade all worked together to make this the first live-grenade drop from an unmanned aircraft system in the U.S. Army for conventional forces.

Over 100 civilian reenactors and 900 military paratroopers from seven partner countries honored the service members who jumped 75 years ago in WWII. More than 1,300 U.S. Service Members, partnered with 950 troops from across Europe and Canada, have converged in northwestern France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the WWII Allied Invasion of Normandy, commonly known as D-Day. Upwards of 80 ceremonies in 40 French communities in the region will take place between June 1-9, 2019.
