What works

Office Click-To-Run (C2R) installer.

What does not

After activating Office, no application could communicate with osppsvc.exe, therefore, when executing any application, the annoying license error appears and then application closes.

Workarounds

To get installer run properly we would need following winetricks: corefonts msxml6 msxml4 vcrun2005 vcrun2008 vcrun2010 vcrun2012 vcrun2013 vcrun2019.
From and Windows XP x64 Setup files copy riched20 (msls31.dll, riched20.dll and riched32.dll) and msxml3 (msxml3.dll and msxml3r.dll) and configure wine as winetricks do on 32bit prefix.
Configure wine as winetricks do on 32bit prefix for wsh57 and install the next upgrades: KB2892075, KB955360-v4, KB3050945, KB3068368

What was not tested

HowTo / Notes

Guidelines for Submitting Test Reports

  1. Test in a clean wineprefix, using plain Wine.
  2. Specify exactly which edition of Office you tested (Standard, Pro, etc.). This is crucial--bugs that affect one edition may not affect others.
  3. Specify exactly what type of install you tested (Typical, Custom, Minimal, etc.)
  4. Limit your report to the installer only. Reports on the performance of individual apps should be filed under their respective AppDB entries. Problems with running any of the apps should only be mentioned if it is clear that it is due to a problem with the installer.
  5. If you used any overrides during the install, please list them and explain exactly what problem each override was needed to solve.
  6. Test reports that do not follow these guidelines will be rejected.

You need riched20, you could get it from Windows XP x64 setup files. You need msls31.dll, riched20.dll and riched32.dll (both x86 and x64 files) and may could you get the box. But in my last test, at least for Office 2016 after activation no aplication works.
