Trevor Bauer's paid administrative leave will again be extended by Major League Baseball, this time to April 29, a source confirmed to The Athletic.
After MLB ended its lockout last month, Bauer was placed on leave through at least March 19; it was extended to April 16, and then again to April 22.
Bauer, 31, is not allowed to report to the team while on leave.

Bauer was first placed on administrative leave last summer following accusations of sexual assault. Los Angeles County police and prosecutors decided not to charge Bauer in connection with those accusations. However, MLB can issue punishments to players under its domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy, even if those players aren't charged with or convicted of a crime.
Players are able to challenge those decisions with an arbitration panel. Bauer has denied any wrongdoing.
Bauer was first put on administrative leave in 2021, covering the final 81 games of the season and playoffs. He is now in the second season of a three-year, $102 million deal with the Dodgers.
