1. The Chris Myers interview. Yuck. Man Oh Man.
2. The Romanowski incident. Romo is an ass, but he was telling Kordell
something. He was saying "Hey, dummie, we knew you would do this. And
you did, not once but twice. You truly are as dolty as we discussed in
our team meetings. Wow!"
3. His present on-field play shows that he is not growing, but
regressing instead. This is typical of athletic QBs who are kind of
slow. Steve Young and Joe Montana were able to overcome and grow because
they were somewhat cerebral. Can anyone describe Kordell as even a bit
cerebral?
4. His rumored Wonderlic scores.
5. His need of not one, but two wrist bands, during his first two years
in the league. These bands contained the simplified "O."
6. Thigpen's comments. Yancey is a pretty nice guy. I think he is
speaking from the heart. Haven't any of you described any of your
friends as a little slow or dumb? Yancey is right on.
7. All these things combined point to some validity in questioning his
ability to ever read defenses and disguises to be serious at this
position.
I have been a Steelers fan for 25 years now. Kordell is not the worst
I've seen come through here. But he is the worst in the NFL as of right
now. Rating: 30 out of 30. Even lousy Scott Mitchell rates higher.
Yukola.

Didn't see it

This is irrelevant. Who cares what a complete ass does to intimidate on the
fiekd, it has nothing to do with reality. Romo also said their blitzes
confused Favre too. Does his comment make that true?

1st valid point

Some stuff he says in almost brilliant. His comments re: Rod Woodson were
genius. And at teh same time, I've heard him sound simplistic. The question
remains, how much IQ is needed when you have X amount of talent.

I'd like to find out about this and see what he really scored, although I'm
not claiming it's completely relevant or not.

Maybe the writing is just big

I don't care what thigpen said. He's now ripping on his current team and
quite honestly, not doing all that much on the field

A real concern but it's week 4 and he's 2-1

Right, but last year at this time PGH D was ranked near the bottom of the
pile, but by year's end it was a different story.
You bring up legit concerns, but I'm not ready to claim your assertions as
fact

Oh I couldn't stop laughing after this one.... I still think its funny. This
has my best one liner of the year award.

Well Yancey isn't a nice guy. It's fact that he is cocky and arrogent and very
self centered. However he is doing great. You want bad play calling well the
Oilers play calling is really bad!!!

I bet he makes more money than you.

Thank you, it amussed me when I wrote it (I'm my own best fan)

You mean he's a typical pro athlete.

That's what Yancey thinks
Does that mean that Mark Malone was a great QB, too? He took them into
the playoffs, too. C'mon, man. Being a true fan does not mean accepting
everything that comes our way.
Are you only a true American if you voted for and agree with the
president? It may be people just like you who are easily and blindly
lead astray by not having a mind strong enough to question.
I don't agree with all the posts, but I certainly don't agree with your
blind endorsement of everything the Steelers do. If I did, I'd be glad
we got rid of Ray Lewis at Linebacker. And I'm not.
Fuck Quinn!

to do what? romanowski is a marginal talent at best and always has
been. he's had the good fortune to land on very talented defenses
everywhere he's been.
derek
Or maybe you were getting tired of everyone bringing up negative criticism
about Kordell that you just wanted to type something down and forgot to
take the Caps Lock key off. Ah spontaneity, it's ok.
I am not a real or fake Steelers Fan, I am a Diehard Steelers Fan.
Something you can't comprehend.
