This is a smallish object, maybe 5 to 10 meters in diameter. Had it hit us, it would have made an impressive sight, but wouldn't have done any real damage. (The Chelyabinsk meteor, a few years back, was closer to 17 meters in diameter, and therefore about ten times more massive, and was able to break lots of windows and cause some injuries. This wouldn't have been quite that impressive.)
