Shin-Hakodate Station (tentative name) of the Hokkaido Shinkansen will be installed in Hokkaido Hokuto city in March, 2016. In November, 2012, Hokuto city planned use of the local mascot for the improvement of notability, and requested the its design to Future University Hakodate. Our school accepted this request from a viewpoint of personnel training through that process with the regional contribution by Information Design Course, and has designed local character from April, 2013. Purpose of this paper is summarizing this measure as a co-creation model of university and region through design activities.
