RUF Automobile

Rt 12 R

The new, radical member of the Rt 12-family

RUF proudly presented the all new Rt 12 R at the 2011 Geneva International Motorshow.

The 3.8 litre bi-turbo boxer engine delivers 537 kW (730 bhp) of power with a maximum torque figure of 940 Nm. A six speed manual gearbox deals with the power transmission and the 4WD system ensures optimal traction under all driving conditions. Rear wheel drive can be ordered as an option for the brave.

The lightweight R version, with design details originating from motorsports, is an optimal choice for the race track, with details like a fully customisable suspension.

The R version of the Rt 12 is also optionally available as the special edition Germany (pictured above), to honour more than 125 years of german engineering in the automotive industry.
