‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Beijing Premiere

Despite impatiently waiting, it looks like this image is the best we are going to get from the ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ premiere which took place on Monday (May 13) in Beijing, China, which was attended by Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, English actress Millie Bobby Brown and American actress Vera Farmiga.

I’ve already covered Millie’s look here, so I’ll focus on Zhang and Vera.

Zhang Ziyi:  We’ve seen a lot of looks from Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection, more so than the others it feels.   This gold dress with heavy embellishments was a risk, but my feeling is that Zhang nailed it. I love the vintage feel of it all, it’s almost like a regal tribal piece.  We know that Zhang loves a platform shoe, so you won’t be surprised to learn that they were present in this look.

Vera Farmiga:  In terms of suiting, Petar Petrov is swiftly becoming a celebrity favourite.  This menswear inspired look makes a confident, strong statement, and I adore the fresh lemony hue.
