'Jabardasth' anchor Anasuya to play a journalist in Mohan Babu's 'Gayathri'

‘Jabardasth’ anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj made her impact in the Telugu film industry by essaying the role of a police officer in ‘Kshanam’.
Recent reports state that she will be essaying the role of a serious journalist in Mohan Babu’s next ‘Gayathri’. The film is expected to be a hard-hitting drama directed by Madan. Her character is touted to be a serious one, with her character said to show a whole new side of her.
The film will also star Nikhila Vimal as Mohan Babu’s daughter. In July, Mohan Babu had announced the project on social media, sharing a picture of the movie’s clapperboard. 'Gayathri' will feature music by SS Thaman and cinematography by Sarvesh Murari.
