Godzilla King of the Monsters goofs up, forgets to remove cameraperson from first clip
There’s a cameraperson visible in the first clip from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. And the internet can’t stop laughing at the goof-up.

Ahead of the first trailer release of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which is due to be held at the ongoing San Diego Comic Con, Warner Bros released a teaser video featuring actor Millie Bobby Brown, and ended up making a goof-up as colossal as the giant lizard itself.
The 50-second video shows Millie’s character, listening to a radio at what looks like an underground bunker. She recoils in fear as she begins to hear Godzilla’s iconic growl. At around the 30-second mark in the clip, the camera pulls out into a wide shot, which reveals another camera behind her. The rogue camera comes closer and for a moment, occupies a large chunk of the shot.
Not only is the camera easy to spot, it’s a major error on the part of the Godzilla marketing team. The film has a reported budget of $200 million and going by industry trends, will be advertised for another $100-$150 million.
Sure enough, fans online spotted the gaffe and couldn’t help but point it out.

The first Godzilla movie was released in 2014 and made over $500 million worldwide. The new film will also star Vera Farmiga and Kyle Chandler and is directed by Michael Dougherty. The film is part of Warners’ Monsters universe, which also includes Kong: Skull Island and an upcoming Godzilla vs Kong film. King of the Monsters has been scheduled for a May, 2019 release and will further explore the Monarch myths developed in the first two movies.
