SOLVE SUNDSBO'S lush, otherworldly images aren't intended for T-shirts. Nonetheless, it works. In what is one of the season's most interesting collaborations, Mr. Sundsbo, the Norwegian photographer, who has shot ads for Yves Saint Laurent and Dolce & Gabbana and fashion features for Harper's Bazaar and W, has paired with the creative studio-clothing label Surface to Air on a line of silk tops, dresses and oversize satchels, printed with three of his works.
''We were looking for images that could create surprising pieces,'' said Aldric Speer, Surface to Air's brand designer. Certainly nothing gives punch to an amorphous sac quite like Mr. Sundsbo's film still of a scarlet macaw in midflight.
