We’re very proud to announce that Naoko Yamada, director of K-On!, K-On! Season 2 and K-On! The Movie will be attending the European premiere of the film at the Glasgow Film Theatre between October 12th and 14th.
Hailing from Kyoto Animation – Yamada-san is an animator who has worked on hit television series from Japan including The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid, K-On! and most recently Hyouka.
She is attending the film festival to present K-On! the Movie and we will be hosting a questions and answer session after the screening – expect another event to be announced nearer the festival too for the Sunday.
She will be joined by Yoshihisa Nakayama, the producer for K-On! and K-On! Season 2 – who will be on hand during the premiere and the Q+A session afterwards.
We will post more information about any related guest events apart from the premiere in September.
