In a galaxy far, far away...

A new look at the upcoming live-action Star Wars show, The Mandalorian, dives into the mythos of the far reaches of the galaxy. Revealed during Monday Night Football, the trailer comes right ahead of Disney Plus’ Nov. 12 launch.

While the first trailer was more atmospheric in tone, showing flashes of this new and unexplored part of the Star Wars universe, this latest one has Werner Herzog’s mysterious character narrate, setting up Pedro Pascal’s lone Mandalorian.

Game of Thrones’ Pedro Pascal plays the lead character, the gun-slinging Mandalorian. Gina Carano joins as Kara Dune, a former Rebel shock trooper who’s a bit of a loner, with Carl Weathers as Greef Marga, the head of a guild of bounty hunters. The Mandalorian takes place in the time after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the First Order.

The Mandalorian will be available on Disney Plus when it launches on Nov. 12. It will be the first of several upcoming Star Wars series, which include a Cassian Andor spinoff and a series reportedly focusing on Obi-Wan Kenobi.
