Capital increase: DaimlerChrysler AG is born

With the capital increases entered in the commercial register, the merger of Daimler-Benz and Chrysler to form DaimlerChrysler AG is complete. For legal reasons, Daimler-Benz AG will continue to exist for the immediate future, until the decisions of the Extraordinary General Meeting with regard to the merger are legally valid.
