Byrrh[edit]

A film buff note, the cafe assisnation scene in the "Great Escape" has a Byrrh sign in the back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.157.195.12 (talk) 02:50, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also in Hitchcock's early film 'Rich and Strange', an ad for Byrrh is on a quick view of a pissoire in Paris. 206.47.101.87 (talk) 00:21, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

...

I came to this article on Byrrh because of the poster in the restaurant in Amelie (first visible legibly at 1:38:28, and through the melting into a puddle of water scene.) I found it odd that the highest grossing french film was not listed among the references to Byrrh in films, but I have never edited wikipedia and don't intend to start. I guess I'm hoping someone else will throw it in there.

cheers

Stamp ?[edit]

"On a French postage stamp of 1932 is a small advertisement for Byrrh on the selvage of the stamp. The stamp is a 50 centimes stamp designed for regular postage (not a commemorative) designated #267 in the Scott Catalogue of Stamps. It pictures a woman who is supposed to represent Peace holding an olive branch. The stamp is printed in red on white paper." Well, Blédine Jaquemaire and Moutarde Parizot on the top of the roulette band, but Byrrh ? -- Spiessens 21:58, 15 August 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiessens (talkcontribs)

Ok, your're right ! I found it on many auction sites. Thanks a lot for this information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spiessens (talkcontribs) 10:29, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
