The GX anime shows in the story that Judai's first year begins in October 2004 and ends in 2005 because Ryo/Zane graduated. The original series manga starts in 1996, but DM never states a year. It could take place in 1996, 1998, or 2000. Anzu/Tea is 16 in the DM anime because it was stated by the Penguin Big 5 member during Virtual World arc. GX cannot be 10 years later. undo
