The earliest documentation of this is in the 1903 catalog for Hispanic student and the 1920 catalog for Asian students. The catalogs can be viewed at www.http://smahistory.com/sma-catalogs/. One of the most notable Hispanic Cadets was Ricardo Martinelli former President of Panama (term 2009-2014) who graduated in 1969. Black students were first admitted in 1973.
