  • curprev 22:1922:19, 24 February 2024Emiya1980 talk contribs 97,850 bytes −65 Notwithstanding BMW's webpage, the History of BMW article clearly states that the existing BMW came into being not through the formation of a new company but the renaming of an old one, Rapp Motorenwerke, which was founded by Karl Rapp. Since BMW's ensuing mergers came about under the direction of executives and investors who were originally affiliated with Rapp Motorenwerke, Rapp should be credited as the original founder. undo
