アーチー・ブラウン

アーチー・ブラウン（Archie Brown/Archibald Haworth Brown, 1938年5月10日 - ）は、イギリスの政治学者。オックスフォード大学名誉教授。専門は、ロシア政治。

略歴・人物

ロンドン・スクール・オブ・エコノミクスで学部・大学院を修了、博士号取得。グラスゴー大学講師（1964-71年）、オックスフォード大学セント・アントニーズ・カレッジ講師（1971-89年）、同教授（1989-2005年）を経て、2005年より名誉教授。1995年から97年まで同大学ロシア・東欧研究所長を務めた。この間、イェール大学、コロンビア大学、テキサス大学オースティン校などで客員教授を務める。

1991年に英国学士院会員、2003年にはアメリカ芸術科学アカデミー外国人会員にそれぞれ選ばれた。 2005年、学術研究および英露関係への貢献を理由として、CMGを受章。
