From Late Latin lēthārgia, borrowed from Ancient Greek ληθᾱργῐ́ᾱ (lēthārgíā, drowsiness), from λήθᾱργος (lḗthārgos, forgetful, lethargic) +‎ -ῐ́ᾱ (-íā, adjectival suffix).
