  1. (botany) Any plant that is indifferent to the pH of the soil.

      Organisms that occur across heterogeneous habitats, such as serpentine bodenvags that tolerate serpentine but occur off of it as well, and rare organisms, such as the endemic flora of many serpentine regions that are fully restricted to serpentine substrates, are likely to show markedly different patterns of genomic variation.
