子どものための哲学

子どものための哲学（こどものためのてつがく、英: Philosophy for Children, P4C）とは、子どもに推論方法や議論のスキルを教えることを目指した教育運動のことである。「若者のための哲学（Philosophy for Young People）」、「小さな子どものための哲学（Philosophy for Kids）」という名の同様の動きもある。これらの運動がしばしば掲げる目標として、哲学教育を通じたより実質的な民主主義社会の実現が挙げられる[1]。一方で、高等教育の場では、哲学を小中学校や大学で教える際の代替的方法を開発する研究も伝統的に進められている（「哲学教育」の項目も参照のこと）[2]。
