ざ‐そう〔‐サウ〕【×痤×瘡】

読み方：ざそう

毛根を包んでいる毛嚢(もうのう)に一致して生じた紅色の丘疹(きゅうしん)で、膿疱(のうほう)を形成したもの。尋常性痤瘡（にきび）・酒皶(しゅさ)性痤瘡のほか薬疹として生じるものもある。

尋常性痤瘡（じんじょうせいざそう、英語: acne vulgaris）は、顔や背と胸に見られる炎症性皮膚疾患の一つ。単に痤瘡（ざそう、acne）、または面皰（めんぽう）ともいう。「痤瘡」は「ざ瘡」「座瘡」とも表記する。「尋常」は、普通にという意味[1]。英語での語源となっているアクネ菌（英語版）は、皮膚の常在菌である。
