Anasuya Bharadwaj to star in Ravi Teja's Khiladi

Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is all set to join the cast of Ravi Teja's much-awaited film, Khiladi. On the occasion of the Mass Maharaja's 53rd birthday, the makers unveiled Khiladi's pre-look teaser as a gift to his fans. In the teaser, Ravi Teja can be seen walking with a weapon in his hand as three cars approach him in an abandoned place. The video became an instant hit on the internet.

ANASUYA IN RAVI TEJA'S KHILADI

Today (February 3), the director of the film, Ramesh Varma took to Twitter to reveal that Anasuya Bharadwaj has been roped in to play an important role in the film. The director wrote, "We gonna PLAY SMART! 'coz this Lady can be the Game Changer! Welcoming our dearest @anusuyakhasba on Board! @RaviTeja_offl @ThisIsDSP @DimpleHayathi @Meenachau6 @idhavish #KoneruSatyanarayana #AStudiosLLP @PenMovies @KHILADiOffl #Khiladi (sic)."

Within few minutes, Anasuya shared Ramesh Varma's post and revealed that she is excited to be a part of the project. Her post read, "I am super kicked to be a part of this crrrraaazyyy film!!! One helluva cast and crew!!! Watch out for us!! #Khiladi (sic)."

Ravi Teja's Khiladi is touted to be an action entertainer. The actor will be seen playing dual roles and one of his characters will be in grey shade. Last week, actor Arjun Sarja announced that he has began shooting for the film.

ANASUYA TO PLAY SILK SMITHA IN AVAL APPADITHAN

Meanwhile, Anasuya is also working on a Tamil film titled Aval Appadithan which will have interesting and in-depth details about Silk Smitha's life which saw various twists and turns. The project will be jointly produced by Gayathri Films’ Chithra Lakshmanan and Murali Cine Arts' H Murali. The makers are planning to announce the cast and crew of the film soon.

The director of the film, Manikandan, in a statement, said, "Silk Smitha's hotness quotient too has been unmatched till date. And to play her character, we are trying to get the right person who can do justice to the role."

Anusuya will also be seen in Allu Arjun's Pushpa which is all set to release on August 13.
