NO RESERVE!! I've never seen another firearm manufactured by this outfit and can find absolutely ZERO info on it in my references or online. This is a NKC (Nihon Kogyo Company Ltd), "King Auto Five" semi-automatic shotgun. Just like the Browning Auto-5, this shotgun has a recoil operated action with reciprocating barrel. It is chambered for 12 gauge, 2-3/4" shells and has a 28-inch vent-rib Full choke barrel. The steel receiver is extensively hand engraved with a scroll pattern and a game scene on each side. Overall condition is excellent with about 97-98% finish remaining. The shotgun has was I would call a semi-matte finish. There is no rust or pitting. The stocks are solid without cracks or chips and have just a few handling marks. The mechanics appear to be in good working order and the bore is excellent. There are NO import markings on the gun. The only markings besides the serial number are "N.K.C. King Auto Five" on the left side of the receiver, the makers name on the pistol grip cap, and the gauge designation and last 3 digits of serial marked on barrel. I suspect it was a limited production item that was purchased overseas and then hand carried into the USA. If anyone has more information on this shotgun, please let me know. A C&R License is acceptable for C&R firearms only (guns determined to be C&R’s by ATF and guns known to be at least 50 years old). I still ship to California but the buyer must supply me with their FFL's CFD# in addition to the Federal License. California law will NOT allow shipment of C&R HANDGUNS direct to a C&R holder in the State of California, a 01 dealer must be used. I can only ship LONG GUNS directly to a California C&R holder. Please call the California Dept. of Justice/Firearms Bureau @ (916)263-4887 for further clarification. Antique firearms require bidder to supply proof of age. Some areas still require an FFL transfer for antique & black powder firearms (New Jersey, NYC, etc.)
Large capacity magazine restrictions: New Jersey - 15 round maximum for semi-automatic firearms only. California - 10 round maximum for all magazines. Maryland - 20 round maximum for all magazines. Massachusetts - over 10 rounds Hawaii - 10 round maximum for all handgun magazines.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: Postal Money Orders and Cashier's Checks ship fastest; Personal and business checks are gladly accepted but will delay shipping 2 weeks for clearance (I know the good ones clear faster, but the bank is sometimes slow in notification of a returned check).
