FUMIKO KONO | World Renowned Chef, Food producer, Journalist & Cooking consultant, Representative for Japan, USA & France | is announced as an official AMBASSADOR OF TASTE FOR THE GLOBAL GASTRONOMY® GOLD MEDALLIST 2022 

 

FUMIKO KONO is a world- renowned traveling chef, a food journalist and a culinary consultant. Her work has focused on French gastronomy, but she is also engaged in the research on food loss and ethical consumption. She is in charge of In-flight meals of First class and Business class of Japan Airlines. Her bases of activities are Tokyo and New York and she hopes to contribute to food sustainability on a global scale.

 

Fumiko Kono: “Gastronomy is an irreplaceable heritage that has been cultivated for generations. However, in order for it to be enjoyable and sustainable for all people, we must take into account the value and essence of ingredients, health and the global environment. From this perspective, I would like to promote gastronomy on a global scale.”

Chef  Fumiko Kono will Participate in the 4th Annual Global Taste Conference of Ambassadors of Taste for the Global Gastronomy® | Athens Greece 2022, July 12 at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall and join the leaders of gastronomy worldwide.
