A Boeing 737 of Wien Consolidated KLM provides technical and operational assistance and operates DC-8 services to Paris. Amsterdam, Lisbon. Madrid and Rome for the airline. These are integrated with the DC-8 services of KLM, Iberia and Alitalia. Other DC-8 services are operated to Panama City, Bogota, Curacao and Lima. Convair 880s operate services to Maracaibo. This Canadian bush operator's history goes back to 1946 when Maxwell Ward started operations from Yellowknife as the Polaris Charter Co with a Fox Moth, flying charters in support of the rapidly developing mining industry of the Northwest Territories. Wardair was formed in 1952 to continue this work, and started operations with an Otter.
