Power Rangers: Mystic Force

Good triumphs over evil in the fantastical stories of "Power Rangers," the international phenomenon in its 14th incarnation, "Power Rangers:  Mystic Force." Set on present-day Earth, five teenagers gifted with uniquely different powers, must lock forces to join two different worlds that have been ravaged by fear and ignorance.  Together with a little bit of magic and sorcery the Mystic Rangers must fight to save a scared city.

"Power Rangers:  Mystic Force" airs as part of the Jetix programming block weekdays (8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., ET/PT), Saturdays (9:00 p.m., ET/PT) and weekends (9:30 a.m., ET/PT) on Toon Disney and Saturdays (12:00 noon and 12:30 p.m., ET and 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., PT) on ABC Television Network’s "ABC Kids."

The story of "Power Rangers: Mystic Force" begins many years ago when five mystic warriors battled the heinous armies of the frightening wizard Morticon. After years of warfare and aided by their magical powers, the mystical warriors were able to banish the evil Morticon and his armies into the Pit, a dangerous place miles below the surface world where they were trapped forever.

Now, years later, the seal has been weakened by the ignorance of the people of Briarwood, a thriving city where everyone gets along. That is, if they avoid the spooky yet spellbinding creatures of the Forest, a dark, creepy place where goblins, wizards and witches reside. Scary legends have infested the Forest, dividing the people of Briarwood and the creatures of the Forest. This discord is making it easy for Morticon and his army to rise to the surface and take control over the Forest and Briarwood. Only the new Mystic Rangers can stop this obliteration but to do so, they must combine the supernatural forces of the Forest and the technology of Briarwood to end the reign of Morticon.  Using a secret portal at The Rockporium, a small record store where the Rangers work and a clairvoyant tree located in the Forest, they will travel through two different worlds to fight against Morticon and restore peace between the creatures of the Forest and the people of Briarwood.

"Power Rangers: Mystic Force" stars Firass Dirani as Nick, the Red Mystic Ranger who can control fire and heat; Richard Brancatisano as Xander, the Green Mystic Ranger who controls nature and plants; Angie Diaz as Vida, the shape shifting Pink Mystic Ranger; Nic Sampson as Chip, the Yellow Mystic Ranger who commands light and lightning and Melanie Vallejo as Madison, the Blue Mystic Ranger who can manipulate liquid in various forms.

Known for their extraordinary super powers, martial arts, acrobatics and special effects, "Power Rangers" continues to teach teens valuable lessons about growing up, the power of team work and most importantly, that good triumphs over evil.  Bruce Kalish ("The Famous Jett Jackson") and Koichi Sakamoto serve as executive producers.  Sally Campbell has been named producer.

"Power Rangers: Mystic Force" is produced in studio and on location in Auckland, New Zealand.  It is from Ranger Productions Ltd.
