Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier bags Kerala Film Critics Award

Fahadh Faasil and Manju Warrier won the best actor and best actress award respectively at this year's Kerala Film Critics Association Awards. While Fahadh won the award for his performance in ‘Thondimuthalum Drisakshiyum’, Manju won it for her roles in ‘Udhaharanam Sujatha' and ‘C/O Syra Banu’.

Fahadh Faasil and Manju Warrier won the best actor and best actress award respectively at this year's Kerala Film Critics Association Awards. While Fahadh won the award for his performance in ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’, Manju won it for her roles in ‘Udhaharanam Sujatha' and ‘C/O Syra Banu’.
Jayaraj won the best director award for his movie ‘Bhayanakam’ while ‘Thondimuthalum Drisakshiyum’ directed by Dileesh Pothan won the best movie award.
The movie also won Sajeev Pazhoor the award for the best screenplay.
‘Aalorukkam’, which won Indrans the State Award won the second best movie. Indrans will be felicitated with Ruby Jubilee Award and music director MK Arjunan gets Chalachitraratnam Award.
Actor Tovino Thomas was adjudged the second best actor for his performance in ‘Mayanadhi’ and ‘Tharangam’ while newcomer Aishwarya Lekshmi bagged the second best actress for her debut movie ‘Mayanadhi’.
The 41st Kerala Film Critics awards were announced by Association president George Onakkur and general secretary Thekkinkad Joseph in a news conference. The awards would be presented to the winners in September at Ernakulam.
