   *Interoperability Summit Series - Human Resources Focus  
At the Interoperability Summit, IT developers and users will gather for the first in a series of meetings aimed at identifying common ground and coordinating development of electronic business specifications. Hosted by consortium standards groups HR:XML, OASIS, Object Management Group (OMG), UN/CEFACT and XBRL.org, the Interoperability Summit Series will identify intersections between major horizontal and vertical standards in order to promote acceptance of common models and approaches. This first meeting will target Human Resources (HR) management, with future summits dedicated to other wide-reaching, horizontal business functions. A second Summit on Procurement is planned for early in 2002.

For this Sixth DOCSec Workshop, Co-sponsored by Promia, Inc, the Program Committee solicits both case studies from enterprises and vendors who have had to confront issues with integrating security into Application Middleware and speculative or available techniques and tools for effectively constructing an operational system using (nearly) arbitrary security technologies and one or more middleware platforms and architectures. Of special interest would be such techniques or tools that use modeling technologies such as UML, which would fit into the OMG's Model Driven Architecture initiative.
