Tezuka, Osamu (Japanese cartoonist and animator, 1928-1989)
|
Note: Tezuka is considered one of the greatest Japanese magna artists and animators. His best known works include "Astro Boy" and "Jungle Taitei," later re-created as "Kimba the White Lion" in the United States. Tezuka was heavily influenced by the work of Walt Disney and Tezuka's work has had an impact on both Japanese and American cartoonists and animators. |
