It seems like One Direction fans don't know whether they're coming or going these days, with permanent split reports hanging over their heads.

However, everyone can all relax because a source close to the band has confirmed that their hiatus is still just temporary and they'll all be back again after they've had a break.

The source told Billboard: "Nothing has changed regarding hiatus plans for the group, and all will be revealed in due time from the band members' own mouths."

So, that's us told.

Since they announced their extended hiatus, rumours have been rife that the boys have called it a day - something that they've frequently denied.

Liam Payne looks to be the first one of them to go solo with rapper Juicy J teasing an upcoming collaboration, and Harry Styles recently registered eight brand new tracks, hinting his first solo album could be on its way.

Elsewhere, Zayn Malik has been spilling the beans about how he really feels about the band, saying he had "every intention" of staying friends with them but they've not called him back.
