Gloria Hatrick Stewart, the actor Jimmy Stewart's wife of 45 years, died on Wednesday at her home. She was 75.

The cause was cancer, said her son Michael McLean.

The Stewarts were married in 1949. Mrs. Stewart had another son from a previous marriage, Lieut. Ronald W. McLean, who was killed at the age 24 of in the Vietnam War.

In addition to her son Michael, she is survived by her husband and the couple's twin daughters, Judy Merrill and Kelly Harcourt.
