Nine people have been killed in two attacks by Taleban insurgents in the southern Afghan province of Helmand, officials say.
Two Afghan civilians were killed and two US-led coalition soldiers were injured in a car bomb attack in Sangin district, the coalition says.
In another attack, the Taleban killed six policemen and one civilian in Marja district, the local police chief said.
Helmand is a Taleban stronghold with many militants based there.
There are almost daily reports of clashes in the region between Afghan and international forces on the one hand, and al-Qaeda and Taleban insurgents on the other.
