Pete Doherty is due to be sentenced later this month

Singer Pete Doherty has told the BBC he has been off drugs for seven weeks - and thinks he has reached a "turning point" in his battle against addiction.
The Babyshambles frontman also told BBC Radio 4's Front Row programme he has been reconciled with his estranged father after three years apart.
He is now living in Wiltshire after spending time in a rehab centre there.
"In the last eight years, I've never been that long without drugs," he told the programme's presenter John Wilson.
"I'm not going to lie and say it's not a struggle, because it is. But in a way, I'm quite proud to be able to admit it, particularly for my mum and dad.
"I'm quietly confident, but there's an underdog feeling about it still. These last few months have been a turning point."

My dad has welcomed me back into the fold - I can actually go home, I can actually talk to him

Doherty, 28, faces sentencing for drug and motoring offences later this month after admitting driving illegally in May while in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis.
The hearing at West London Magistrates' Court was delayed to 26 October to enable him to complete his six weeks of treatment at Clouds House, East Knoyle.
He had been warned he faced jail if he did not go into rehab.
Part of his treatment included family therapy, which saw him reunited with his father, Army officer Peter.
"My dad has welcomed me back into the fold," Doherty said. "I can actually go home, I can actually talk to him.
"He came in for some family therapy, which is a miracle in itself. It was an emotional time, to be honest."
Denying a newspaper story his cat had tested positive for cocaine, he said his access to the media was restricted.
"The papers are intercepted," he said. "Sometimes I'd pick up the Daily Mirror, but there'd be a page missing."
The musician added that he had only been allowed to play the guitar twice a week as part of his treatment.
The Front Row interview can be heard on BBC Radio 4 at 1915 BST on Friday, or via the programme's website.
