MIAMI, Florida – Beginning next Monday, September 30, 13 teams from around the Caribbean will vie for three spots in the 2020 Concacaf Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship.
The Caribbean Qualifying Stage consists of three groups to be played in round robin format with the winner of each group advancing to the 2020 Concacaf WOQC.
Group A will see five teams take to the field at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago, including host nation Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda and Aruba.
The Jamaica National Stadium in Kingston will serve as the location for Group B. A little more than a year after reaching the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup, a young group of Haiti players will try to edge closer to their Olympic dream, but first they must do battle with Puerto Rico and Suriname.
