Who is David Tennant?

David Tennant was born David John McDonald in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland, on April 18, 1971.

As well as being a movie and TV star, he is also known for his work with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

However, he is best remembered as the tenth Time Lord on Doctor Who.

His first full episode as Doctor Who was the 2005 festive special, The Christmas Invasion.

He played the role until January 1, 2010, when he bowed out to make way for Matt Smith.

But much to the delight of fans, David returned to Doctor Who as the fourteenth Time Lord for the Christmas Day special in 2023.

Kind-hearted David Tennant is one of the Comic Relief 2024 hosts.

The fundraising event takes place on March 15, 2024.

Who is David Tennant's wife Georgia?

David is married to actress Georgia Moffett.

The pair met on the set of Doctor Who episode The Doctor’s Daughter.

David told Jonathan Ross he presented the engagement ring as a Christmas present.

He told the host: "I wrapped up a big box in Christmas paper and there was another box inside that and another inside that.

In 2009, he starred as Sir Piers Pomfrey in St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold and the following year voiced the character of Spitelout in How to Train Your Dragon.

David starred as vampire expert Peter Vincent in the Fright Night remake and in 2014, he starred alongside Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly in What We Did on Our Holiday.

The actor also starred in You, Me and Him, which was co-produced by his wife Georgia Moffett.
