China's longest bus made its debut on March 13th at Busworld Asia 2007, a leading domestic bus and coach show in Shanghai.

According to a engineer from Zhejiang Young Man Vehicle Group, this BRT bus entitled, "Young Man • Metropolitan Line A-380", is 25 meters long, almost as long as a subway carriage. With a capacity of 300 passengers, the bus can reach speeds of 82 kilometers per hour. Five doors enable several passengers to get on and off at the same time and the bus runs on advanced computer guidance systems.

"This 25-meter-long bus is designed for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. It has passed the safety test of the National Passenger Car Supervision and Inspection Center and has been put into trial run on the third Ring road", said a representative from Zhejiang Young Man Vehicle Group.
