Samuel L Jackson has joined the cast of legal thriller Reasonable Doubt.
The Avengers star will team up with British actor Dominic Cooper for the indie project, which enters production in Canada next month.
Formerly titled 'The Good Samaritan', Reasonable Doubt centres on a young assistant DA who ends up hunting a man he got acquitted in a fatal hit-and-run trial due to inconclusive evidence.
Sliding Doors helmer Peter Howitt will direct the project based on a screenplay by Flight Plan scribe Peter Dowling, Variety reports.
Meanwhile, Jackson is currently filming remakes of both RoboCop and Oldboy.
Reasonable Doubt is yet to be assigned a release date.
