Demolitions coming soon to South Taft, Ford City

(Here is the latest update on blight abatement in the Taft area in an email from Mark Salvaggio, an aide to Supervisor David Couch)

Dear Taft Friends,

In the new few days you see 430 Montview in South Taft being demolished. You will also see 114 Madison and 303 Madison in Ford City being demolished.

In the near future, you will also see 306 Madison and 424 Madison (Victory Square) being demolished.

Remember, 406 Montview in South Taft will be coming to the Board of Supervisors for demolition approval on May 16. Thanks to our wonderful Code Compliance Officer Dee Benson!

In the next few days, I will be updating you on where we are in abating all the junk and wooden shed by the alley at 217 Pierce Street in Ford City.

On Saturday, we will have our Wasco Clean-Up Day and then head to Pine Mountain Club for the ground breaking ceremony for the new PMC Fire Station.
