Let Me In First Look: Chloe Moretz as Vampire Abby

We don't know about you guys, but after watching Chloe Moretz dole out the violence in Kick-Ass, we have become a lot more comfortable with the idea of her playing the lead vampire in Matt Reeves' remake of Let the Right One In, which takes its new title Let Me In directly from the source material by author John Ajvide Lindqvist.

In case you are living under a rock and do not know the premise of the story ... Let Me In follows an alienated 12-year-old boy who befriends a mysterious young newcomer in his small New Mexico town and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood.

i want this to be good, but it's so much more likely to be bad. I guessing her performance will be the best part of the movie, but not enough to make up for all it's shortcomings....

This remake will stink, wait and see. I am a fan of Chloe, but this movie is going to stink. It's going to be a superficial version of the story, period.

The original has elements that no American movie studio is mature enough to handle or include in their films.

I cannot see this working for anyone who has already seen the first film. It's likely to add an overdose of sentimentality and up the violence but lower the impact of such.

Watch the original.

I have a feeling this may actually be good. But I still hate the fact that it exists.
