Russian Air Force received the fourth modernized aircraft A-50U

BERIEV Aircraft Company supplied the next modernized long-range radar detection aircraft A-50U (№41, "Taganrog") to the Russian Air Force.

After passing all the necessary tests, the aircraft was handed over to the crew of the Russian Air Force and successfully flew from Taganrog to its permanent base. This is the fourth modernized A-50U aircraft transferred to the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

Modernization of the A-50 aircraft in the variant A-50U is conducted by the BERIEV Aircraft Company together with the Radio Engineering Concern "Vega". Modernization of the A-50 aircraft in service with Russia's military aircraft will continue.

This is the 200th aircraft of this type produced by the United Aircraft Corporation and the first SSJ leased to the airline from PSB Leasing. The term of the contract is 20 years. For the aircraft, an inverse version of the airline's livery was chosen (not the standard white and red, but red and white). Now the airline's fleet has 2 aircraft painted in such manner, the second one is A320.
