Defensive Headaches

Posted on: Tue 17 Jan 2012
Nottingham Forest's defensive crisis shows no signing of easing ahead of this evening's FA Cup third round replay with Leicester.

Manager Steve Cotterill had hoped Wes Morgan or Brendan Moloney would be available to play some part in the game after injury lay-offs.

But Cotterill has revealed that neither player is likely to be involved in the game at King Power Stadium (kick-off 7.30pm).

That represents a bitter blow with skipper Luke Chambers starting a three-match ban following his sending-off against Southampton and means midfielder Guy Moussi is likely to partner Joel Lynch at the heart of the Forest back four.

Cotterill is still also unable to call upon long-term injury victims Chris Cohen and Ishmael Miller.
